Overview
Pop Mart has teamed up with FIFA to launch The Monsters × FIFA Series — the first official sports collaboration in Labubu’s history. The partnership arrived in time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which runs from June 11 through July 19 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
“This is The Monsters’ first official sports collaboration,” said Emily Brough, Head of Licensing for Pop Mart Americas. “By bringing Labubu to the pitch, we’re celebrating fandom, unity, and the imagination to dream big.”
What’s in the Collection
The drop spans twelve items across three product tiers:
The Monsters × FIFA Vinyl Plush Doll — The centerpiece. A bright blue Labubu decked out in a full soccer kit, mini cleats, and clutching a replica FIFA World Cup trophy. Designed to capture the moment every fan imagines: winning it all.
The Monsters × FIFA Vinyl Plush Pendant Keychain — A round Labubu pendant with a zippered pouch, suspended from a lanyard with a soccer-ball accent. Wearable merch that doubles as a collectible.
The Monsters × FIFA Lifestyle Collection — A broader assortment of blind-box accessories including pendant keychains, mini pendant light blind boxes, bottle opener fridge magnets, a glass cup series, and a football mini bag series. These are intended to mirror the emotional journey of matchday.
Pricing & Availability
The collection went live online via Pop Mart’s app and website on April 2, 2026 at 10 p.m. ET, with in-store availability beginning April 3, 2026 at Pop Mart retail locations across the U.S.
- Vinyl Plush Doll — $149.99
- Vinyl Plush Pendant Keychain — $32.99
- Lifestyle Collection blind boxes — $29.99
As with most Labubu drops, units sold out rapidly. Resale listings have since appeared on eBay and StockX at significant premiums above retail.
Pop-Ups & Live Events
Pop Mart plans FIFA-themed pop-up shops and immersive installations in select World Cup host cities across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, running through the tournament final on July 19. Specific city dates had not been fully announced as of publication.
Why It Matters for Collectors
This is a landmark release for Labubu fans. Sports crossovers are uncommon territory for designer toy brands, and a collaboration with an entity as large as FIFA signals that Pop Mart is pushing Labubu well beyond niche collector circles.
Pop Mart’s Americas team has also announced a separate partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment to develop a Labubu live-action/CGI hybrid film, making 2026 a pivotal year for the IP’s expansion into mainstream entertainment and sports culture.
For collectors, limited production quantities and the World Cup’s global profile make this series among the stronger candidates for secondary market appreciation in 2026. If you missed the April drop, monitor Pop Mart’s official channels and HelloLabubu.com for restock alerts and future releases.
